Today an update was pushed live to improve performance for lower-end computers, and across the board. It seems to be great, however there are a few bugs that the GoldFire team are actively working on squashing. Here are the official notes for the update:

UPDATE Several major performance improvements (especially for players on older or weaker computers) to overall gameplay and when moving around the map.
UPDATE Decrease data streamed from the server by 40% to improve load times and performance.
FIX Fix a few issues that were causing issues with some of the missions.
Until a fix is announced, be wary of using your 'Your Condo' teleport button too much- this is causing rendering issues and you may freeze up or get a looping 'spinning poker chip' screen.
As always, clearing your cache somewhat regularly, reloading the game, and- of course- using Google Chrome are highly suggested. :)
